Seeking French Translator candidates with relevant Defense, and Security Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Defense, and Security Sector Clients such as NSWC IHD. JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Translation and Interpretation Services (French Translation) in the Defense, and Security Industry Sector focusing on Management And Operations Solutions for clients such as Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) | Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) - Department of the Navy (DOD) Located In Indian Head, MD 20640 and across the Mid Atlantic Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Translate various documents from English to French and vice versa. Ensure linguistic accuracy and adherence to government protocols. Collaborate closely with clients to deliver translations on time.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Fluency in English and French, with strong written communication skills. Previous experience translating for government agencies is a plus. Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in French or Translation Studies. At least 3 years of professional translation experience. Skills Required Mastery of translation software tools (e.g., Wordfast). Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
