A nationally-ranked, 400-bed, academic medical center is looking for a full-time, permanent Histotech for the DAY shift or EVENING shift . This is a high-volume, state-of-the-art, modern laboratory that provides services to its hospital and numerous independent practices across New Hampshire.

Job Requirements


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs high quality processing, embedding, grossing, staining, immunohistochemistry, and microtomy of routine specimens
• Ensures accurate results by following established quality control practices.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical histology laboratory
• Successful completion of a accredited Histotechnician program within the last 5 years
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science field of study
• HT/HTL (ASCP) certification or eligible
