Real Time Software Engineer, Vehicle Systems

Salary: $126,650 - 232,300 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree or equivalent.
• We require the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
• We require the ability to obtain Special Program Access, which also requires U.S. citizenship.
• We require at least 5 years of C/C++ experience.
• We require at least 5 years of experience with the software development lifecycle.
• We require at least 3 years of direct experience designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems.
• We require at least 1 year of experience in safety-critical or flight-critical software development.

• We develop, document, and sustain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.
• We build, maintain, and integrate code and software components into complete, functional systems.
• We create and maintain development plans, verification plans, test procedures, and test environments, then execute tests and record results to confirm requirements are met.
• We provide technical leadership across software projects.
• We support the creation and upkeep of software processes, tools, and metrics.
• We act as subject matter experts on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations.
• We monitor and assess software teams to ensure conformance with project plans and industry standards.
• We coach and mentor others.
• We work under general direction.
