Engineer - Python, COBOL & WebSphere

Overview: Experience: 4-6 Years Role Description: The Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions, working across multiple platforms, and supporting business-critical applications. The role requires hands-on expertise in programming, system administration, and middleware, ensuring smooth application deployment, integration, and support. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using COBOL and related technologies.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) .
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and issue resolution on AIX and Linux environments.
- Write and optimize scripts/programs using Python for automation and application support.
- Support System i - COBOL400 applications and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
- Execute deployments, upgrades, and fixes in line with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to IT best practices, including security, compliance, and operational excellence.
