About the Role As the Assistant Community Manager at The Coves in Palmyra, VA , you will play a key role in supporting the Community Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of our apartment community in Palmyra, VA. You'll be empowered to make a real impact on residents' experiences and the success of the property. Key Responsibilities Assist the Community Manager in effectively managing the apartment community and accomplishing property objectives Assume all responsibilities of the Community Manager in their absence Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including accurate reporting of rents and deposits Be knowledgeable in all phases of leasing and resident retention Greet prospective clients, show the community, and perform leasing duties as needed Maintain a positive customer relations attitude and deliver exceptional service Thrive in a busy, multi-task work environment-work both independently and as part of a team Weekend hours required on a rotating basis Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Two years' experience in Residential Property Management or related field Associate's Degree or equivalent college-level education preferred Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Excel) required Experience with Yardi preferredExperience with LIHTC properties preferred Self-motivated, high energy, and committed to high performance Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Please Note: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
