Knowledge of Relational Database Management principles, design, and practices4. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work assignments both individually and for the support team5. Knowledge of data integration and metadata tools including InformaticaReferences – (Must have 3 Professional References!)Scope of ServicesThe candidate in this position will be responsible for assisting in the data analysis, data quality and data integration activities of FDOT’s various data sources. The candidate must be skilled in data analysis of data stored in legacy databases including DB2/zOS, Oracle, and SQL Server platforms. The candidate must be skilled with modern data platforms including Azure SQL. The candidate must be able to understand and demonstrate the ability to develop data quality and integration processes utilizing modern data integration tools. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team to supports the Department’s data needs.Primary Job Duties/ TasksThis resource will primarily be tasked with performing data integration activities including, but not limited to, the following:1. Analyze and develop data quality, cleansing, migration, and conversion requirements2. Plan, design, implement, and support data cleansing, migration, and conversion work efforts3. Validate data after data cleansing and data conversion efforts4. Analyze data requirements and develop logical and physical data models5. Implement database objects in support of approved data models6. Develop and maintain technical metadata7. Develop and maintain procedures and documentation8. Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff9.
