Account Executive

Audacy

Audacy Norfolk seeks an experienced self‑motivated sales professional to develop and sell advertising and marketing campaigns to new and existing clients. The primary focus is new business development and digital sales across Audacy’s product portfolio, including on‑air, non‑traditional, and digital platforms. The Account Executive must be a hunter with cold‑calling proficiency, strong negotiation and closing skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships, presenting tailored advertising solutions. Excellent written and oral communication, time‑management, and multi‑tasking abilities are required. Responsibilities Contact and cold‑call businesses to create marketing solutions that may include radio, digital assets, events, and social media. Prospect new clients, collaborate with internal teams to develop and pitch strategic ideas, and drive new business development. Grow existing accounts and manage all business aspects of client relationships. Achieve sales goals and attend meetings and training sessions. Continuously learn new products and proactively create opportunities to communicate Audacy’s value proposition, including podcasts, streaming audio/video, and digital performance media. Maintain our CRM and other platforms and use them for daily business activities. Clearly communicate and manage expectations internally and externally while juggling multiple accounts. Build deep business relationships by consistently delivering excellent service and results. Leverage attribution capabilities to provide optimized solutions and higher ROI. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Hunter mentality with cold‑calling and prospecting experience. Proven ability to negotiate and close sales with a high level of success. Excellent written and oral communication skills and confidence presenting to clients. Strong time‑management and organizational skills with ability to multitask. High level of drive, resilience, and a winning attitude. Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance for own vehicle if applicable, and satisfactory motor‑vehicle record check. Preferred Experience in sales and new business development. Track record of meeting and exceeding defined sales goals. Strategic omni‑channel selling experience. Conceptual understanding of client needs analysis and its benefits.
