• Prepares requests for quotation to be submitted to suppliers list.
• Defines and manages list of suppliers within the vendor management system.
• Coordinates with buyers within assigned Business Unit to ensure consistent implementation of the set strategy.
• Receives the purchase request to initiate the procurement process.
• Prepares requests for quotation of the most complex packages to be submitted to suppliers list.
• Sources vendors/suppliers for materials, services and subcontract needs.
• Analyzes/assesses and negotiates offers received from suppliers ensuring commercial verification.
• Analyzes proposals received from vendors asking alignment to requirements to the project team.
• Prepares a summary of final recommendation to be communicated with the requesting business unit.
• Oversees terms & conditions reviews of contracts in coordination with all the contract stakeholders.
• Manages economic and contractual negotiations of orders and associated purchasing terms and conditions.
• Performs internal & external benchmark analysis on products/services and market intelligence on the supply base.
• Manages the relationship with suppliers in accordance with internal governance & compliance requirements.
• Negotiates with vendors to achieve the most cost effective best and final offer.
• Participates in vendor qualification.
• Supports the procurement manager in complex negotiations.
• Discusses and reviews the procurement plan, on a weekly basis, with the project team.
• Prepares and releases the Purchase Order (PO) once the sourcing process has been completed.
• Assists the procurement manager with the preparation of procurement plans.
• Mentors junior buyers and contributes to process improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
• Assists in the analysis of current procedures to identify critical issues and mitigate risk.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree
