PARAMEDIC

Functions as an integral member of the Advanced Life Support Team. Delivers sophisticated pre-hospital emergency medical care and coordinates transportation to appropriate medical facilities. Education Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of Paramedic program Preferred: N/A Registration/Certification/Licensure: Current PA Dept. of Health Paramedic license, Healthcare Provider CPR, ACLS, PALS, EVOC, First Response Hazmat, Act 33/73 clearances, and must have attended an Advanced ITLS course Experience Minimum: Two years of Paramedic experience Preferred: N/A Other Requirements: N/A Status: Non-Exempt Physical Requirements The following frequency definitions apply to all Physical Requirements unless otherwise noted: Occasional: (0-1/3 of day , 0 - 2.5 hrs/day, 1 - 4 reps/hr) Frequent: (1/3 -2/3 of day , 2.5 - 5.5 hrs/day, 5 -24 reps/hr) Constant : (> 2/3rd of day , > 5.5 hrs/day, > 24 reps/hr) NOTE: An asterisk (*) indicates that the item is an essential function.
