Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Lawrenceville, GA

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Schedule: Wednesday & Saturday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Hours: Two 12-hour shifts per week

Start: Immediate openings available

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one, in-home nursing care for a client in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN seeking flexible scheduling, meaningful one-on-one patient care, and additional income. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to provide safe, attentive care in a private home setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the client's individualized plan of care and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Administer and manage medications as directed.
• Provide ostomy care.
• Provide care for a bedbound client, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Perform intermittent catheterization as required.
• Assist with diabetes management and monitoring.
• Provide transportation and assistance for medical appointments, as appropriate.
• Monitor the client's condition and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare personnel.
• Assist the client with social interaction, communication, social media, and engagement with their environment.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care and living environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and records in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to support positive client outcomes and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Previous experience providing nursing care, preferably in a home-care or private-duty setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB test/results as required.
• Strong clinical and specialized nursing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to accurately maintain clinical records and documentation.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance.
• Compassionate, dependable, professional, and attentive approach to client care.
