About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 23:00) Experience: 2 years preferred License: State or Compact license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have: Experience in Orthopedic, General, Neurological, Vascular, and Urology procedures. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. Shifts are 10 hours on Saturday and Sunday, with a Monday shift ending at 15:00. No on-call duty is required. Two years of experience is preferred. Travel experience is also preferred. Candidates must have experience with Epic charting. Experience in Orthopedic, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology is required. Preferred experience includes working with Davinci Robots, endovascular procedures, and eye surgeries. All applicants should be aware that there are specific counties that are ineligible for this position. Mandatory skills include competencies in a variety of surgical procedures such as Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arthroscopy, Craniotomy, Hernia repair, and various robotic surgeries. The unit has a daily census of approximately 45 patients. Standard patient ratios are 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends. Minimal call requirements, only 1-2 shifts every six weeks. The unit facilitates care for patients across Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics. All required skills and experiences must be validated during the hiring process. Modules for onboarding will be completed onsite during orientation.
