Are you an experienced Dietary Services leader with a strong background in skilled nursing and long-term care? We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Regional Dietary Services Manager to provide leadership, operational support, and oversight to the dietary departments across multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) .

This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands that dietary services are about more than meals—they are an essential part of resident satisfaction, clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and quality of life .

What You’ll Do

As the Regional Dietary Services Manager, you will partner with facility leadership and dietary teams to promote consistency, quality, and compliance throughout the region. Responsibilities include:

• Provide regional oversight and support to Dietary Managers and facility dining teams

• Conduct routine facility visits, audits, and operational reviews

• Ensure dietary departments maintain compliance with CMS, state, federal, and local regulations

• Support facilities in preparation for surveys and assist with plans of correction when needed

• Monitor sanitation, food safety, kitchen operations, meal service, and documentation

• Review menus and meal-service practices to ensure resident needs and preferences are appropriately addressed

• Partner with Registered Dietitians, Nursing, Administrators, and interdisciplinary teams regarding resident nutritional needs

• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and development of dietary leadership

• Identify opportunities to improve resident satisfaction and overall dining experiences

• Monitor staffing, scheduling, productivity, food costs, inventory, purchasing, and waste

• Assist facilities experiencing operational or staffing challenges

• Develop and implement standardized dietary processes, policies, and best practices across the region

• Review quality indicators and develop action plans to address areas of opportunity

• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, hospitality, and resident-centered service

What We’re Looking For

• Previous multi-site or regional dietary leadership experience strongly preferred

• Strong experience within Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, or Post-Acute Care

• Thorough knowledge of healthcare dietary operations, sanitation, food safety, and regulatory requirements

• Experience with survey readiness and regulatory compliance

• Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to analyze operations and implement sustainable improvements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to build strong relationships with Administrators and interdisciplinary leadership teams

• Comfortable traveling regularly between assigned facilities

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM/CFPP) preferred

• ServSafe certification preferred or required based on applicable regulations
