What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems

• Service central air conditioners, heat pumps, oil furnaces, gas furnaces, boilers, and geothermal systems

• Perform preventative maintenance, seasonal inspections, and HVAC system evaluations

• Identify system performance issues and explain appropriate repair and upgrade options to homeowners

• Test electrical components, airflow, refrigerant levels, and system safety controls

• Clearly communicate system findings and recommendations to customers

• Complete service documentation and reports using company-provided technology

• Follow local regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and established safety standards

• Keep your service vehicle organized and maintain a professional presentation in the field

Required

• High school diploma and technical school education

• 3 or more years of residential HVAC service experience

• Strong HVAC troubleshooting, diagnostics, service, and repair skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude and dependable work ethic

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Valid driver's license

• Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

• Connecticut HVAC S1, S2, or D2 license

• EPA Universal Certification
