Job Title: Repair Tech

The Repair Tech is responsible for the repair of post frame buildings according to project plans and specifications. Due to the day-to-day contact with customers and co-workers this position is required to work in person on-site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Regular and predictable attendance; report to work on-time
• Provide excellent customer service and reflect our company's core values at all times
• Gather materials for proper installing of materials at site for repairs.
• Use miscellaneous power tools
• Assemble materials per plans & specifications
• Repair current building issues, work on warranty repairs and billable repairs, document all repairs through Company Cam, taking before and after photos.
• Install roofing, siding & trim as required
• Operate construction equipment as required i.e.: skid steer, scissor lift, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Complies with QSI policies and procedures

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Any combination of job-related experience and/or training which would produce the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• QSI provides on-the-job training

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

• Ability to perform tasks accurately, effectively and in a timely manner
• Must be able to multitask, possess good communications skills
• Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to work under time constraints
• Ability to interface with customers, sub-contract crews and company personnel
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions accurately
• Ability to safely perform major job responsibilities with reasonable accommodations

Weight & Lift Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry light equipment and building materials repeatedly.
• Lifting anything >80lbs requires additional personnel and utilizing a dolly or forklift if possible.
