Internship - Hardware Testing for Electric Drives (f/m/d) Work environment Our department “Development of Electric Drives, Power Electronics, and Transmissions” within Group Components at the Kassel site holds corporate responsibility for developing all future pulse inverters (PWR) for electric drives. Possible tasks within this role Supporting the development of automotive series hardware in accordance with Automotive SPICE, internal development processes, and functional safety standards Assisting in the design, execution, and documentation of hardware unit and integration tests based on requirements Designing and creating support tools (e.g., adapter boards or signal generators) to facilitate test execution Developing and implementing automated test procedures and evaluations Qualification requirements Enrolled Students (also in a Gap Year) in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or similar fields Good to very good academic performance Knowledge in power electronics / pulse inverters for electric drives, hardware development, or similar areas is desirable Familiarity with MATLAB, PLECS, LTSpice, VBA, and Microsoft Office is a plus German and English language level B2 Valid Class B driver’s license required The following documents must be submitted with your application Current certificate of enrollment Current academic transcript In case of a compulsory internship, a certificate from the university Keywords E-mobility, test automation, hardware development, signal processing, test bench technology, development projects, measurement technology, technical documentation, innovation management, process optimization The gross hourly wage for internships (including mandatory internships) and thesis projects is equal to the current minimum wage.
