Job Description Description Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists is looking for a f ull - t ime, experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Scottsdale, AZ. About You You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by delivering exceptional perioperative care for our surgical patients. Your life-changing work will range from applying advanced technical skills in anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and diagnostic testing, to supporting every stage of the patient journey from admission through recovery and discharge. Your Experience & Skills Minimum 3 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care) CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) required Superior/advanced technical & anesthesia skills Experience in a Specialty Surgery setting strongly preferred Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care) Possesses a positive work attitude Self-motivated Excellent communication and organization skills You’ll Grow with Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
