Family education and communication are also emphasized. What You Will Do: Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions Engage students in learning course objectives and topics Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University. What You Will Bring: Master’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education, or related field AND 2 areas of exceptional expertise. All instructors must have a valid state teacher certification in Early Childhood Eduction, Early Childhood Special Education or Special Educator OR a valid state certification in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education or Special Education AND a minimum of 3 years teaching students ages birth to age 8/grade 3 in a special education or inclusive education setting.
