Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Medford, Oregon.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 28, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position at a Level III trauma center, requiring TNCC certification and at least 2 years of ED experience.Details\n \n Emergency Department setting within a short-term acute care hospital\n Level III trauma center\n Night shift schedule (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:00)\n Patient ratio of 1:4\n Every other weekend required\n No floating between units required\n No on-call requirements\n Uses Epic EMR\n Requirements\n \n Active RN license (compact license must be in hand at time of submission)\n BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (NIHSS preferred)\n Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required\n Epic charting experience required\n Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response\n Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line care/management\n Experience managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure\n Proficient in continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressor administration\n Skilled in respiratory management including BiPAP/CPAP and ventilated patient care\n Able to interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)\n Knowledgeable in isolation precautions/PPE and triage procedures\n Additional Information\n \n Provide direct emergency care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of critically ill patients\n Scrubs provided for ED staff\n No parking fees at this facility\n Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate\n Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for standard travel rate\n Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside the 50-mile radius\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n Travelers may be required to float to sister facilities within the health system\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-750133.
