Location: Al’s Oasis – Oacoma, SD Job Type: Full-Time and/or Part-Time Join Our Team! Do you enjoy meeting new people, staying busy, and making sure guests have a great experience? Al’s Restaurant at Al’s Oasis is looking for friendly, dependable Waitstaff to join our team. As a member of our waitstaff, you’ll welcome guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and provide attentive service throughout their visit. If you’re outgoing, customer-focused, and enjoy working as part of a team, we’d love to meet you! What You’ll Do Guest Service Greet guests and make them feel welcome. Provide friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience. Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations. Respond to guest requests and concerns in a helpful and professional manner. Table Service Take food and beverage orders accurately. Serve meals and drinks promptly. Check in with guests throughout their meal. Present guest checks and process payments as needed. Clear, clean, and reset tables for incoming guests. Restaurant Operations Complete side work, including restocking supplies and rolling silverware. Help keep the dining room clean, organized, and welcoming. Communicate with kitchen staff and other team members to keep service running smoothly. Assist with other restaurant duties as needed. What We’re Looking For Preferred Qualifications Previous restaurant, serving, or customer service experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Reliable transportation to and from work. Skills & Abilities Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused. Strong communication and people skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to safely carry trays, food, and beverages. Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Why Join Our Team?
