Role and Responsibilities

\n

\n

We're looking for a highly motivated (Senior) Product Marketing Manager to join our Samsung Ads Product Marketing team. This B2B-focused role is responsible for developing, designing, and executing on the Samsung Ads Product Marketing portfolio, including offerings related to new ad formats, new targeting types, new data partnerships, and more as it pertains to upper funnel video products (e.g., reach, awareness, audiences) within Samsung TV+.

This leader will be responsible for working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Sales, and GTM partners to translate Samsung Ads’ goals into actionable, sellable solutions for Samsung Ads Sellers and Agency teams. The role requires strong product marketing ownership of solutions while also working closely with partner teams throughout the product development lifecycle (e.g. Product Managers in development; Monetization and FPA for roll-out and lead lists; Sales L&D and PMO for product adoption tracking and training).

This senior individual contributor role will play a key part in the continued success of Samsung Ads. This lead will work regularly to package incoming product ideas from Samsung to drive well-tested, well-monetized, and well-adapted success for Samsung’s B2B clients, agencies, and industry partners. This role reports into the Senior Director of Product Marketing, which is part of the Commercialization team.

The goal of this role, over time, is to make Samsung Upper Funnel Video solutions a must-buy partner to top brands and agencies. A secondary goal is to simplify, streamline, and better define Samsung’s go-to-market strategy in partnership while delivering industry-leading solutions.

What You'll Do:

\n

\n
• Lead B2B Product Marketing for Samsung Upper Funnel video products - Serve as the primary point of contact for Product Marketing for select Samsung upper funnel video products, working closely with cross functional teams to bring these offerings from launch into successful, always-on, must-buy offerings.
\n
• Develop and Execute Strong Go-To-Market that Drives B2B Samsung Upper Funnel Solutions Adoption - Refine and accelerate the team’s overall go-to-market product strategy from conception to launch to recurring buys.
\n
• Understand the Customer and What it Takes to Win - Capture the voice of the customer by analyzing advertiser needs, pain points, demands, and market trends, and translating those insights into prioritized product and GTM strategies to accelerate sales.
\n
• Package New and Existing Offerings that Meet Customer Business Objectives - Take new, complex products and distill them into easy-to-understand offerings for client audiences, working with partner teams to refine product market fit.
\n
• Build and Refine Value Propositions - Create clear, compelling narratives for each Samsung Upper Funnel offering/content, bringing industry and market intelligence into the mix.
\n
• Define the Samsung Product Arc - Work with Product, Engineering, GTM, and Insights to build clear ‘sales ready’ turnkey programs, including cases, claims, and benchmarks that inspire confidence in sellers and adoption from clients.
\n
• Partner Cross-Functionally - Work daily with Product Managers, Product Strategy, Marketing and Sales to bring offerings to life. Regularly to go top-to-top and bring an informed recommendation on offering steer and deployment.

Required Qualifications:

\n

\n

\n
• CTV/Media/Advertising Product Marketing Expertise: 8+ years of experience in leading advertising-related product marketing programs, the majority of which have been spent driving leading product marketing programs in media, programmatic, sponsorship, and/or technology-related ad sales.
\n
• Strong Upper Funnel Video knowledge: At least 5+ years of experience in upper funnel video solution building, including deep knowledge in reach, awareness, roadblocks, and audiences. Strong familiarity with client expectations and outcomes, as well as industry standard pricing and bundling concepts.
\n
• Product Marketing Lifecycle Ownership: Experience in leading the full lifecycle of B2B, ads, or content product marketing development, from early-stage Product Manager / BD partnership to alpha/beta to general availability, partnering with cross-functional teams as needed.
\n
• Proven Track Record of Successful Product Launches: Successfully developed, launched, and deployed new products, and accelerated adoption of existing products, especially within the CTV, programmatic, sponsorship, or advertising space.
\n
• Outstanding cross-functional collaboration: Particularly with Product, Engineering, Product, L&D, Monetization, and Sales teams.
\n
• Quantitative and GTM Familiarity: Proficiency in data analysis, basic 3rd party market research, and crafting product arc narratives.
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (product, marketing, business, media, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

\n

• Strong Market Landscape Knowledge: Direct experience at or with leading media, CTV/OTT advertising platforms, or related programmatic platforms (e.g. Meta, Netflix, Google, Amazon, Apple, Pinterest, Disney, Roku, etc)
\n
• Familiarity with Samsung Ads products: Including but not limited to programmatic and direct offerings, device capabilities, and Samsung TV+ upper funnel offerings
\n
• Data-driven: Use data and metrics regularly to understand product adoption, quantify product feedback and performance, and overall commercial impact
\n
• Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication, as well as persuasive presentation skills
\n
• Strong Operator: Exceptionally organized and operationally-focused

• Travel: This role may require occasional domestic or international travel (up to 15%) for internal and external meetings.

Skills and Qualifications

\n

Salary Range Pay Transparency: Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York City, NY is expected to be between Base range: $170,000 ~ $200,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
