About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Dean of Nursing to provide inclusive and visionary leadership for its well-established nursing program. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing programs, ensuring alignment with the college's mission and accreditation standards. This role involves faculty and staff supervision, curriculum development, and assessment, as well as maintaining partnerships with healthcare providers to address regional workforce needs. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in nursing, current RN licensure, and a minimum of 5 years' of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years' in nursing education. A strong commitment to diversity, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in management and leadership are essential. Key responsibilities for the Associate Dean of Nursing at the company include overseeing budget and resource management, leading accreditation efforts, and fostering a culture of student success and support. The role also requires the development and maintenance of partnerships with educational institutions and healthcare providers, as well as participation in community and college engagement activities. The candidate should be adept at analyzing and preparing budgets, have experience with strategic planning, and be familiar with institutional assessment. While not mandatory, a Doctorate degree in nursing or a related field, experience with ACEN accreditation, and a background in a community college setting are preferred qualifications.
