Senior Specialist, Data Engineering and Analytics

Senior Specialist supporting Small Molecule Science & Technology's data and analytics initiatives. This individual contributor role executes data engineering, pipeline development, and analytics solutions to enhance manufacturing operations and process understanding across multiple business units.

Responsibilities

Execute data engineering and analytics deliverables to support SM S&T priorities and business objectives
Build, maintain, and enhance data pipelines, transformations, curated datasets, and analytical outputs
Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical solutions that improve visibility and decision support
Investigate data quality issues and partner with teams to enhance data completeness and usability
Translate business requirements into data specifications and fit-for-purpose analytical outputs

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, data science, computer science, or related technical discipline
Five years of experience in data engineering, analytics, manufacturing systems, or technical operations (three years with master's degree)
Working knowledge of manufacturing or operational data in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated environments
Hands-on experience with data preparation, transformation, pipeline development, analytics tools, or reporting solutions
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver quality work with appropriate guidance
