It borders Grand Forks, ND and is very close to the University of North Dakota and Northland Community and Technical College. The district's K-12 enrollment is approximately 1900 students as well as a thriving preschool program. The district has four separate school buildings housing grades PreK-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. May assist with special events and programs. Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.Required Skills and QualificationsAbility to operate basic maintenance tools and equipment safely. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English in order to understand safety instructions, respond to work orders and interact with staff.Physical RequirementsPhysical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as needed (up to 100 lbs). Ability to work off of lifts and ladders of various heights when necessary.
