Currently, we are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) that has 8 - 10 hours of availability weekly on Tuesday or Thursday, and Wednesday. Hours for treatment are 8:30am - 4:00pm. We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and making a meaningful difference every day. Key Responsibilities Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, the established plan of care, and company policies. Help optimize functional independence, self-care, and quality of life for older adult participants. Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and required in-service education. Collaborate with the Director of Rehabilitation to develop and enhance therapy programming (full-time positions). Provide clinical supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate. Follow all infection control procedures and applicable resident rights guidelines. Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize participant care. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations. Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical activity. Complete other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Georgia, or eligibility to obtain licensure. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Foreign-trained candidates must have their degree evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level Occupational Therapy education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency.
