Details Hospital-based CT department serving inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department patients Utilizes Epic and PACS systems along with independent workstation and pressure injector equipment Performs CT angiography, 3D imaging, MIP, VR, vessel analysis, and MPR reconstructions for radiologist interpretation Weekend night shifts Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 12-hour shifts, 24 hours per week Holiday coverage required when the holiday falls on a scheduled weekend shift Requirements Certificate of completion from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or college diploma in a related field Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography through the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) BLS certification (American Heart Association) ARRT registration in Radiography (R) ARRT registration in Computed Tomography (CT) or Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) certification Experience with Epic and PACS charting systems Ability to initiate IVs and administer contrast media per department protocol License required if applicable Additional Information Responsibilities include patient positioning, protocol tailoring, contrast administration, and post-processing of CT images for radiologist review Documents patient history, exam data, charges, and any adverse reactions or unusual occurrences Collaborates with radiologists to tailor scan protocols to individual patient needs Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; local candidates are not accepted Contingent workers may not remain on assignment at this facility for more than 1 year without a 6-month break in service American Traveler Job ID P-748333.
