Downtown Columbus CPA firm with a strong mid-market client base wants an Audit Associate who is eager to learn assurance from the ground up. Highlights - Help perform audits and reviews for manufacturers, nonprofits, and construction companies - Test internal controls, vouch transactions, and document findings in electronic workpapers - Get real exposure to clients early — not stuck in a back room tying out numbers - Bachelor's in Accounting; 150-hour or CPA-eligible preferred; up to 2 years experience - Flexible hybrid schedule and reasonable travel, mostly central Ohio - Hiring now — interviews are being scheduled immediately Compensation & benefits - Base pay $62,000–$75,000 DOE - Signing bonus available plus yearly performance bonus - Medical, dental, and vision plans with HSA option - 401(k) and profit-sharing contribution - Life and long-term disability insurance - Generous PTO bank plus 10 paid holidays - CPA exam reimbursement, study time, and a pass bonus; ongoing CPE paid - Hybrid flexibility; busy-season hours are planned, not open-ended - Firm events, mentoring program, and a visible track to Audit Senior
