Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Free Life Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' unique experiences and needs. \n
- Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and enhancing resilience among clients. \n
- Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients effectively. \n
- Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms. \n
- Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide an integrated care approach that optimizes client outcomes. \n
- Offering crisis intervention and responsive support during traumatic incidents or emergencies. \n
- Informing clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources to better equip them for their recovery journeys. \n
- Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards. \n
- Participating proactively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment strategies while sharing insights regarding trauma-informed care. \n
- Staying current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enrich your clinical expertise. \n
Your role will focus on serving a diverse client population, primarily those who have experienced significant trauma and may be dealing with the aftermath of PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. You will provide compassionate, person-centered support to clients of various backgrounds, helping them unlock their potential for healing and resilience. Qualifications\nTo be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona. \n
- Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and collaboration with clients. \n
- Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and deliver sensitive care in a non-judgmental manner. \n
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools. \n
While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value diverse backgrounds and perspectives in our team.
