American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a day shift assignment requiring float coverage between ICU and Med-Surg units with every other weekend required. Requirements Active RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent experience required Epic EMR experience required Vehicle required for this assignment Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting Responsibilities Work in the ICU of a Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center teaching hospital ICU staffing ratio of 1:1-2 patients Float to Med-Surg with ratios of 1:4-5 when needed Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM) Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating required between ICU and Med-Surg units, and potentially to other facilities within the health system network (Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent) Uses Epic EMR system Provide critical care nursing services in the ICU with additional support to Med-Surg as needed based on patient census Scrubs provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units; any color accepted for other areas No parking fees at this facility First-time travelers are welcome to apply Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot apply within 50 miles of the facility Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) accommodated for this assignment Floating between all facilities within the state may be required, and refusal to float may result in termination of assignment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUsl Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-759892 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
