Licensed Therapist Opportunity - Oxon Hill, MD | 1099 Contract

We are seeking licensed therapists for a 1099 independent contractor opportunity serving consumers in the Oxon Hill, MD area.

Position Details

Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flexible, non-traditional hours; evening availability preferred
Service Settings: Office-Based, Home-Based & Telehealth

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy based on consumer needs.

• Meet with assigned consumers according to their treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Conduct screenings and assessments within the scope of licensure.

• Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments when permitted by licensure and assigned.

• Provide focused therapeutic interventions, including motivational and crisis intervention when appropriate.

• Coordinate care with consumers, families, social workers, case managers, physicians, and other providers.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and discharge documentation.

• Participate in required clinical supervision, meetings, and trainings.

• Continually assess consumer needs, diagnosis, and appropriateness of services.

• Maintain compliance with applicable Maryland regulations and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited university or college.

• Active Maryland license in the applicable discipline.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical documentation skills.

• Computer literacy and reliable internet access.

• Ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload.

• Ability to provide services across office-based, home-based, and/or telehealth settings.

• Spanish-speaking ability
