A Registered Nurse specializing in operating room circulating at a facility in Hermiston, Oregon. This position involves providing perioperative nursing care during intraoperative surgical experiences, ensuring patient safety, and advocating for patients throughout the surgical process. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Hermiston, Oregon
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associate of Science in Nursing; current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); no prior experience required, but preferred qualifications include previous RN circulator experience, Perioperative 101 course, and scrub experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The perioperative nurse is responsible for patient safety and comfort, including performing safety checks, managing surgical specimens, communicating patient status, administering medications, and maintaining patient privacy. This role also involves collaborating effectively with healthcare team members and participating in required educational programs.
