## MANAGERApplylocations: Goodwater, AL: Eclectic, ALtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdaytime left to apply: End Date: June 26, 2026 (23 days left to apply)job requisition id: JR103176It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!*We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.***Key Responsibilities*** **Compliance & Auditing:** Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across both plants to ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Alabama state regulations.* **Hazard Mitigation:** Identify and remediate hazards specific to store fixture manufacturing, including machine guarding for wood/metal saws, proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) during maintenance, and ventilation for finishing/painting areas.* **Training & Engagement:** Develop and deliver safety training programs, including new-hire orientation, forklift certification, and periodic "toolbox talks" on ergonomics and proper lifting.* **Incident Management:** Lead root-cause investigations for all accidents or near-misses and implement permanent corrective actions.* **Recordkeeping:** Maintain all required documentation, including OSHA 300 logs, safety data sheets (SDS), and equipment maintenance records.* **Safety KPI Management:** Track leading and lagging indicators to evaluate data and set improvement goals.* **Safety Committee Leadership:** Establish and facilitate active safety committees at both locations to empower employees to participate in safety improvements.**Required Qualifications*** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.* **Experience:** 5+ years of safety management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in furniture or fixture production.* **Certifications:** Professional certification such as **Certified Safety Professional (CSP)** or **Associate Safety Professional (ASP)** is highly preferred.* **Skills:** Deep technical knowledge of OSHA 1910 standards, strong analytical problem-solving abilities, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.* **Travel:** Ability to travel regularly between the two Alabama facility locations.**Physical Requirements*** Must be able to walk and stand on manufacturing floors for extended periods.* Comfortable working around heavy machinery, in varying temperatures, and wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
