Step into an impactful role supporting students as a School Psychologist on a contract basis. You’ll provide essential psychological services in a dynamic educational environment, helping students overcome barriers so they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to identify student needs, implement interventions, and foster inclusive learning spaces.

Preferred Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working in a school setting is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with various assessment tools, response-to-intervention (RTI), and IEP development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in one-on-one and group settings
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students’ strengths and needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings regarding eligibility, services, and intervention planning
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
• Support creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling or behavioral support as needed
• Consult with teachers and staff on classroom strategies, crisis intervention, and positive behavioral supports
• Promote culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices within the school community
