Make a meaningful impact in the lives of K–12 students by supporting their educational and emotional needs in the vibrant Mobile, AL area. This contract opportunity calls for dedicated School Psychologists to collaborate on-site for the 2026–2027 school year, with the potential to extend through both Extended School Year and Next School Year, based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K–12 students as needed for testing requirements
- Deliver counseling, consultation, and intervention services to foster students’ academic and social development
- Work in cooperation with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation
- Stay flexible and prepared to serve multiple school sites within the district depending on evolving testing needs
- Adhere strictly to ethical and legal guidelines in all aspects of practice
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Alabama School Psychologist license (candidates must present images of licensure)
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in K–12 settings preferred
- Capacity to adapt between itinerant and site-based assignments
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Comfort and commitment to an on-site position (remote/VOCO is not an option)
- Commitment to professional collaboration and inclusive practices
