• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.

• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, as assigned.

• Assist residents with mobility, lifting, and transfers using approved techniques and equipment.

• Respond promptly to residents’ needs and report changes in condition to the nursing team.

• Support nursing staff in providing compassionate care, including hospice care when appropriate.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.

• Document resident care accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.

• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, individualized care.

• Promote residents’ dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life.

• Current CNA certification in the applicable state.

• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care.

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant practices and personal care procedures.

• Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers safely.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to recognize and report changes in residents’ conditions.

• Commitment to infection control, resident safety, and confidentiality.

• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, subacute care, or memory care is preferred.
