How you'll make an impact in this role

• Conduct advanced, specialized imaging and complex interventional procedures alongside radiologists to provide accurate diagnostic aid and guide targeted therapeutic treatments.
• Prepare and position patients compassionately while configuring precise technical parameters to capture high-resolution diagnostic images safely and efficiently.
• Administer contrast media and prescribed medications safely within your clinical scope, strictly adhering to regulatory guidelines to ensure patient safety throughout the scan.
• Monitor patients vigilantly during live procedures to immediately catch and report any abnormal activity, safeguarding patient well-being at every step.
• Enforce rigorous radiation safety protocols and recommend continuous updates to imaging guidelines, ensuring the department operates at the highest standard of clinical compliance.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart
  Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
