Senior Scientist, Digital Insights (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Digital Insights team within the Development Sciences and Clinical Supply (DSCS) Digital Technologies organization. Digital is the multiplier that will allow DSCS to deliver better experiments faster, efficient filing and launch, more robust supply chains and higher‑confidence decisions across the portfolio. The role will lead the development and application of digital tools and workflows to support scientists across drug substance development, drug product development and analytical development, leveraging large datasets, novel machine learning methods, and data science capabilities to influence experimental design and interpretation. The candidate will work across our company's small molecule, biologics, and vaccine portfolio, initially focusing on aligning our digital imaging capabilities through data science workflows and machine learning models for image analysis and prediction. Responsibilities Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders to gather requirements for new digital and data solutions that have direct pipeline impact. Leverage state‑of‑the‑art digital and predictive tools to model large datasets and integrate disparate or siloed data sources. Collaborate on refreshing the strategy for application of digital imaging capabilities. Design and develop data analysis and visualization workflows, dashboards, reports, and data exports. Curate data and support the automation of data ingestion. Influence the definition of digital strategy. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Education Minimum Requirement Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Molecular Modeling, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field (expected completion no later than August 2026). M.S. in a related field with at least 2 years of industrial/pharmaceutical or relevant experience. B.S. in a related field with at least 4 years of industrial/pharmaceutical or relevant experience. Required Experience and Skills Familiarity with programming languages such as R or Python and platforms like Posit/RStudio/Jupyter. Excellent communication, creativity, and interpersonal skills. Ability to deliver complex solutions under compressed timelines in a dynamic environment. Team‑oriented collaborative experience with cross‑functional interactions. Motivated to learn new skills, take on challenges, and maintain scientific curiosity. Preferred Experience and Skills Experience with data visualization tools (Shiny, Streamlit, Spotfire, Dash, PowerBI, or Tableau). Experience with data pipeline tools such as Dataiku or Databricks. Experience with relational databases, graph databases, and SQL. Experience with common process and analytical capabilities used in pharmaceutical development. Evidence of cross‑functional collaborations. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $117,000.00 – $184,200.00. The successful candidate will be eligible for an annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
