Travel Acute Care Physical Therapist - $2,435 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist assignment in New Orleans, Louisiana. Position Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care. Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction. Set realistic and achievable goals, document and record patient conditions, and educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods. Develop a plan of care for each patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient. Qualifications Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with a passed NPTE. Must have graduated from an accredited school. Minimum one year of experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist/PT, or actively pursuing licensure. Current CPR certification. Other requirements as determined by the client facility.
