Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel Contract

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to patients within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized patient treatment plans in accordance with facility protocols and standards of care
• Document patient progress and clinical notes accurately using facility EMR systems (ProTouch and SMART/Casamba)
• Float to additional units or affiliated facility locations as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Adhere to facility dress code (navy scrubs) and all applicable compliance and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Kentucky
• Minimum of 1 year of professional physical therapy experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute or long-term acute care environment
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn EMR platforms (ProTouch and SMART/Casamba)
• Ability to float to additional units as required by facility needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Acute Care or LTACH setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with ProTouch and/or SMART/Casamba documentation systems
• Experience working in a 30-bed or similarly sized inpatient facility
