Behavioral Health Registered Nurse - Adolescent Female Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to work in an adolescent female unit. The nurse will provide crisis stabilization, medication management, and participate in group therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in a psychiatric setting.
• Manage medication administration and monitor patient progress.
• Participate in crisis intervention and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members such as pharmacists, social workers, and occupational therapists.
• Provide support for patients with various diagnoses including PTSD, suicidal ideation, and general anxiety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting.
• Current RN license required.
• BCLS certification is necessary.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Experience with Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR is preferred.
