About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. The position requires the ability to work night shifts and involves a commitment to quality patient care.
