Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) for a healthcare facility in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time role involves preparing and assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques, and supporting operative teams. The candidate will perform a variety of technical duties to ensure smooth surgical operations and patient safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, shift from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, starting on 08/17/2026.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program; certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist or an LVN/LPN license; BLS certification via AHA; 2 or more years of experience preferred; location in the United States.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to proficiently scrub in multiple specialty areas including but not limited to Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Ribs, Robotics, etc.
• Additional Information: Performs pre-operative patient preparation, maintains aseptic techniques, positions patients, handles biological specimens, and prepares the operating room with supplies and instruments. Works under the direction of a professional nurse, establishing and maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, and assisting physicians as directed. Demonstrates expertise in surgical environment monitoring, safety practices, and proper sterilization procedures.
