Overview Outstanding Per Diem Opportunity for a Neonatologist in Central New York Responsibilities Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, Board Certified neonatologist to provide per diem coverage in Syracuse, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a physician friendly, team-oriented environment providing high quality care at two premier hospitals: St. Joseph’s Health Hospital and Upstate Community Hospital.Practice HighlightsSt. Joseph's Health Hospital – Level III NICU14-bed Level III NICU with 24/7 in-house APP coverage; physicians take call from homeApproximately 1800 deliveries annually with 200+ NICU admissionsSubspecialty support is available through SUNY Upstate and associated groupsDaytime rounding in-house at either the Level 1 or Level 3 Monday-Friday. Out of House call 14 hours for both units Monday-Thursday, usually the doc covering the L3 for the day. Friday-Sunday call for both units same provider all 3 days. Saturday-Sunday IH rounding on both units.
