Are you a Packaging Engineer with lumber/plywood crate design experience, looking to take a technical lead at a global organization, offering specialist training and progression into senior and management roles?

In this role, you will design and develop bespoke wooden crates and industrial packaging solutions using CAD, taking projects from initial concept through to completion. You will also review and modify existing designs, work directly with customers to develop practical solutions, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, typically lasting from a few days to two weeks.
This role would suit a Packaging Engineer with lumber/plywood crate design experience, looking for greater technical ownership, creative freedom, and long-term progression within a global organization.
The Role:
- Take ownership of mechanical design projects across North America, creating and modifying bespoke wooden crates and industrial packaging solutions
- Work across the full design lifecycle, reviewing customer designs, developing CAD models, and applying Design for Manufacturing principles
- Receive specialist training, with opportunities to progress into senior technical and management positions
The Person:
- Packaging Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Product Design Engineer, or similar
- Experience designing wooden crates using plywood and lumber
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
