Job Title: Fire Systems Inspector – TEKsystems – Huntsville, AL Responsibilities: Conduct inspections and testing of Fire Alarm and Sprinkler systems to verify proper operation and compliance with standards. Identify and document any deficiencies found during system evaluations. Clearly explain system functionality and findings to customers. Maintain professional interactions with customers, vendors, and team members. Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and best practices. Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and skill development. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and core values. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Required Skills & Qualifications: Core Skills Fire Alarm Systems Sprinkler Systems System Testing and Inspection Minimum Requirements Prior experience with fire alarm or sprinkler systems. NICET Level II certification or relevant fire alarm/sprinkler license. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications. Proficiency with electronic testing equipment. Ability to pass drug screening and background checks. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license. Eligibility to meet state licensing and vendor certification requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Fire Life Safety, Low Voltage, or Security systems. Manufacturer certifications for fire alarm systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic understanding of IT systems and functionality. Additional NICET certifications. Experience Level Intermediate Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70,000.00–$72,000.00 per year.
