Occupational Therapist – OTWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Myrtle Beach! The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and serving as a resource in the therapy department.Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patient's ability to perform daily tasks. The responsibilities of Physical Therapist include (but are not limited to):Evaluating a patient's condition and needsDeveloping treatment plans to address a patient's needs and help them meet specific goalsAssessing a patient's home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient's needs and improve independenceTraining patients and their caregivers to use special equipmentAssessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposesQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.Licensed in South Carolina.CPR certification.Ability to provide direct and supervised patient care.Knowledge of occupational therapy principles across the lifespan.Familiarity with standards of care for inpatients and outpatients.Ready to enhance your career in a beautiful Myrtle Beach setting and make a meaningful impact on patient care?
