Staff Accountant

TOD'S Group Americas is currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join the finance team.
This role Reports to the Senior Accountant and is responsible for accounting functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bookkeeping (AR/AP invoices, accruals, general accounting entries)
- Support to the preparation of the monthly and yearly financial statement.
- Examine financial records and ensure that financial accounts are accurate.
- Identify potential areas of opportunity, risk and provide solutions.
- Collaborates with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.
- Works with the Finance team to assist for periodic audits (internal and external).
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Reviews and reconciles all bank reconciliations and support for the intercompany reconciliation process.
- Support to the preparation and implementation of new accounting and finance procedures
- Support on Tax compliance activities.
REQUISITES FOR THE CANDIDATE:
Team player in the accounting team and support the other functions and departments of the company with a collaborative approach.
Precision, attention to the details, curiosity, interest in accounting and fashions topics.
