Diagnostic Supervisor - Heart & Vascular - FT Days

Job Summary Under general direction of the Diagnostic Cardiovascular Manager, the Diagnostic Cardiovascular Imaging Supervisor provides clinical and operational supervision for Echocardiography and Vascular Imaging services. The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily operations, ensuring quality diagnostic imaging, assisting in maintaining regulatory and accreditation compliance, and supervising technical staff in a high‑volume imaging environment. Responsibilities Supervises daily operations of echocardiography and vascular imaging services Provides direct supervision of sonographers and technical staff Ensures compliance with IAC/ICAEL, Joint Commission, CMS, and institutional standards Monitors imaging quality and protocol adherence Participates in quality assurance and improvement initiatives Serves as first‑line leadership for staff performance and operational issues Supports onboarding, training, and competency assessments Collaborates with physicians, nursing, and imaging leadership Assists with monitoring volumes and productivity metrics Ensures proper use and care of imaging equipment Performs other duties as assigned Additional duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's in Diagnostic Medical Sonography 2+ years of clinical experience Core Competencies Patient‑Centered Care – Demonstrates a commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and high‑quality care that prioritizes the well‑being and satisfaction of patients and their families.
