CDL Bus Driver / Handyman

The Goddard School of Shadow Creek Ranch (Pearland), TX is currently seeking a qualified CDL Bus Driver / Handyman to help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for our students and staff. Responsibilities

Bus Driver Duties:
Safely transport children to and from their designated public/private schools and The Goddard School.
Ensure all children are properly secured and accounted for during transportation.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and readiness of school buses (fueling, cleaning, basic maintenance).
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Handyman Duties:
Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs throughout the facility (painting, plumbing, lighting, minor carpentry, etc.).
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment inside and outside the school building.
Assist with general upkeep, including playground maintenance and equipment inspections.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure the facility remains in top condition.
Coordinate with management for larger repairs and vendor services when needed.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who are as passionate about providing a safe and caring environment for children as we are! Valid CDL required Experience in facility maintenance, repairs, or general handyman work Clean driving record and ability to meet all state and company transportation requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Flexibility with work schedule and willingness to assist in various areas of the school Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
