Product Support

Akkodis is seeking Product Support for a Direct Hire with a client in Overland Park, KS. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in traffic systems, electricians, and technical training to effectively guide installations, troubleshooting issues, and drive partner competence.

Salary Range: $100K/Yearly to $120K/Yearly; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Product Support Job Responsibilities include:

• Deliver hands-on training (in-person and remote) on installation, configuration, and use of hardware and software.
• Guide partners through installation planning, ensuring required equipment, tools, and configurations are in place.
• Act as a subject matter expert to troubleshoot installation and system integration issues in the field.
• Support sales and project teams with technical expertise, training sessions, and solution guidance.
• Validate installations, provide feedback, and ensure partners meet performance and competency standards.
• Collaborate with distributors, contractors, and end-users to drive adoption and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in traffic systems, field installations, or technical training (IMSA II certification preferred).
• Strong hands-on expertise in intersection cabinet architecture, field installations, and troubleshooting traffic systems.
• Proven experience in delivering technical training and working directly with partners to support installation, validation, and system integration.
