What Will You Do?

1. Inspire and educate: Create a welcoming space where learners gain confidence with electrical components and concepts.
2. Teach by doing: Run live demos and guide practice in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair—residential, commercial, and industrial.
3. Shape the curriculum: Partner with faculty to refresh and build courses that track with industry change.
4. Mentor: Coach students through projects, encouraging critical thinking and inventive solutions.
5. Lead with safety: Set the example for procedures and best practices that keep everyone protected.

What Do You Bring?

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: 5 years of practical field experience required (teaching experience excluded). Journeyman/Licensed Technician, NCCER Certified Instructor, or an associate/bachelor’s in a related field is a plus.
• Technical toolkit: Power distribution, branch circuit wiring, conduit bending, lighting layouts, service panel upgrades, load calculations, and troubleshooting for single-phase and multi-phase commercial systems.
• People skills: Clear communication, patience, and empathy for learners moving at different paces.
